About

Hello I'm Tyronne Gietzmann, a Melbourne artist based in Geelong.

A punk, professional youth worker and activist, I am a self confessed nerd that loves anime, graphic novels, sci-fi, horror and fantasy. These all can be seen as inspiration in my various works as well as the ever present social commentary.

I would describe my style as comprised of bold line work, strong use of colours and contrast with frequent use of symbolism. My works conveys and captures movement and emotion with each piece, mostly focusing on dark, confronting and at times macabre themes.

After completing a Certificate 4 in Visual Art & Contemporary Craft  and winning the The Stoll Trust Award through the Whitehorse Rotary Art Show in 2009. I have had extensive experience working with clients on commissions. These often involved designing and illustrating for alternative bands which includes album art, flyers, Vinyl (12"& 7")/CD & Cassette layouts; both locally and on an international level.
